Have you ever considered Solomon’s statement in Ecclesiastes 12:13:
“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
To ‘fear God’ is a recurring theme of the bible. Is this fear simply a ‘reverence, respect or awe’ or should we actually be terrified of God like Isaiah and John? (Isa 6:5-7; Rev 1:17). Could a healthy fear of God lead us to the life we were meant to live?
